Villain is something like 44/5 over 80 hands. Nothing very special post-flop. Comments also from pre-flop appreciated.

I'd reraise preflop to 16

as played I would lead out on the flop for $10

Lead for pot, check-raising with tptk is pretty bad.

That seems like huge amount to me to reraise to preflop in $50NL.

Why so much?

Explain a checkraise being "filthy" to us newbies...

'filthy' because TPTk is rather marginal.
If hero leads for $6 its easier to find out where you are than check raising for $15, where any kind of call/reraise and your looking sick playing TPTK on a connected board oop.

best case senario CO has AQ/QQ/JJ and will go away, any kind of call i'd have to assume CO has at least AK or better.

AK's value comes from fold equity. I'm sure bottom set just wants to take it down PF w/o any resistance..
