Won a PS $215 ticket, play or take the cash?
So, I won a $215 in $T in the 36+3 on Pokerstars. What's the Sunday million guarauntee on PS like as far as competition? Would I just be dead money?
I could always use the $215 for the normal $30 tourneys I usually play instead, effectively taking the $215 in cash. |

The competition is surprisingly soft, but the tournament itself is a big crapshoot.
From the time it hits the money, the avg stack will be 12-15bb's. You won't be dead money, but its a high variance tournament for sure. |

Re: Won a PS $215 ticket, play or take the cash?
if you're BR'ed for 30$ tournaments (which keep in mind, is a different question then if you just play them), then you could probably spare 215 T$ to take a shot at a big payday if you really wanted to. Bankroll managment is obviously essential ti success as a poker player, but there's nothing wrong with the *occassional* shot at a higher step IMO.

if you're asking, take the T. As a rule of thumb.
I personally let it ride every time. |
