Whats in your player notes?

Most of mine so far at Party are usually just one word, i.e. tight, loose, fishy, ect.

What kind of notes do you keep and are they general or scenario specific?

i usually only put notes if they are a complete idiot. in which case the note would read something like "[censored] retard"

How they act in blind wars, if they bet or raise scare cards, whether they slowplay or not, if they pump draws or not, what they've said about me in the past, etc.

I usually go with specifics, like: C2C in MP w/ A3o (Called two cold in middle position with ace three offsuit), or something like: seems to only PFR with AA, KK, or AK, or maybe PT stats if it's over a large sample

I used to just put stuff like "uber-fish" or "idiot agg donkey", but I've found that: 1. These extremely bad players are obvious and you can spot their idiocy within about 3 hands; 2. Sometimes people change how they play and/or learn, and it's hard for me to change the stereotype (and it costs me $ sometimes to figure out that they finally read a book); 3. I've found that most idiots that play crappy hands out of position, continue to do so (somewhat) if they learn... they're just a little better post-flop. Also, I keep a buddy list that needs little in the way of player "definitions".

Also, be prepared to change your notes. You're usually only getting a snapshot of their playing. The maniac may be a $50/$100 player blowing off steam and having fun. The calling station may be a drunk TAG on tilt.

LOL, same here. I rarely use the notes feature but when I do, it's usually because I'm pissed at the player.
