Default 5/10 AK against LAG

Villain is 54/7/2.1 and in CO.

Folded to villain who limps, I raise A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villain checkraises the flop and I call.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain bets, I call.

River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villain bets and Hero raises...

Good? What if 3-bet on the river?

grunch

i would have reraised the turn to see where you are as you played it i wouldn't have raised the river and just called down i think raising there is bad as you should only really be called by someone beating you and you'll prolly lose to a 3-bet so i'd fold.

What hands do you want to fold out with a turn raise? He'll bet the river no matter what he has. What if 3-bet on the turn? I don't like a turn raise at all.

OP,

I think it's an ok line to take. You let him bluff into you again on the river. With those numbers, I probably call his 3bet.

I like it.
I also 3-bet his flop C-R if he is very agressive.

If he's a lag, he'll generally always show it down, which inclines me to raise on the turn.

If he's a LAG that can fold, your line is good.

All decent LAG's can fold to a raise. They often can't stop betting if you don't raise. You don't want to raise the turn for this reason. Keep him betting. If he has the Q, waiting doesn't cost you anything. If he hasn't, you've gained a bet, Mahogany17
