I like raising the turn when he donks it, but I think you can safely fold to the 3bet against a rocky opponent. I really don't see anything a rocky opponent will 3bet here that you beat, so your probably drawing to two outs. If he was tricky I'd call down, but even if your getting an inckling he's rocky I think you can fold it.

If you were going to fold the river unimproved then why not just fold the turn once he 3 bets? I really doubt the 9 on the river changed things.

Personally I would probably just call down after the turn donk.

I folded the river because it put 2 pair on the board. If he was getting weird with a 9 I still lose.

you got two choices, fold to the turn 3 bet, or call the river. you got em backwards.

I like a raise/fold line on the turn given your read. When he 3 bets you are toast.

what hands are rocks cold calling in the sb with that contain a 9?

AJ [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or something like this? As a rock, wouldn't he try to gain information on the flop with the pair of 10's? Is his plan really to check/fold the turn with the 10's unimproved? That being said, AJ [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is about the only hand I see that we beat, so I like folding the turn to 3 bets.

Isn't it possible that he's playing QQ or maybe JJ this way? If he's a thinking rock - and not dumb as a rock (sorry, that was bad) - he could be, right? How rocky are we talking? Sylvester Stallone? Or _____ and Bullwinkle? Ok, I'll stop...
