Default My New Roulette Strategy

European Board Bet 0 for $1 dollar

after 29 spins if it hasnt hit 0

start betting $2 (martingale method)

The reason why i think the martingale method would work here is

a) the amount of money starts off really low.
b) the amount of spins is 29 and not 1 before you double your bet again.

so theoreteically After 174 spins if it still isnt green yet it in the martingale method your only up to $32.00

and your spent a grand total so far of $1827.

So if you got the bankroll to do it. It should work the problem is you dont make very much money. But green should hit at least once by the time the roulette spins 174 times.

After careful calculations, I think your system has an EV in the neighborhood of -2.70%.

Assumptions -

Before 29 spins: The probability of 0 hitting = 1:37

After 29 spins: probability of 0 hitting <= 1:37

Yes, it would work extremely well. Given a very large amount of spins, add up all the money you have wagered, and you will find you have lost almost exactly 2.7% of it.

That sounds like a great strategy. Don't forget to visit BBV after you go broke.

BBV stands stands for "Beats Brags and Variance" which is a part of the 2+2 forums where people go to curse the luck or brag about their wins. I'm sorry for being rude, I hadn't realized that you do understand that roulette is a -ev game.

It doesn't matter what kind of a betting system you use, the EV will stay the same. But for example with Martingale, you'll have more small winning sessions, but this is compensated by the huge losses you'll take from time to time. Read this WoO article about betting systems, understand it and you won't have to ask about systems anymore.
