Default 50nl river decision

Villain is a 41/2.8/1.3 fish over 178 hands. Been in several hands with him already mostly stealing his blind. He has tried to donk bet/bluff me on the turn or river everytime. I had the goods, came over the top and he folded everytime. Then this out of nowhere...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) converter

BB ($40.30)
UTG ($20)
UTG+1 ($105.15)
MP1 ($70.85)
MP2 ($13.40)
CO ($94.60)
Hero ($61.90)
SB ($50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.75) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $1.5, BB calls $1.50, UTG folds.

Turn: ($4.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB calls $4.

River: ($12.75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $9, BB raises to $34.3, Hero???

I also wonder about limping with this on the button. Should I be abusing the button and raising in a spot like this more?

You should definately raise PF from button. And I think you have to call this.

no need to raise this from the button. we can play it for set value. anything under 8s i try to limp even from LP because when you hit your set people get stacked. this is a draw heavy flop and i bet it up hard and a full pot on the turn. river looks like he may have hit a straight. but from a guy like this who may be fed up with your play its possible hes making his move with aq now. i call the river bet every time but i am not thrilled doing it

I don't mind limping on the BN with this hand, but I'm not as aggressive as many others here. I'd open raise with it, of course.

And I'd call the river bet. To me, there's too much of a chance of him catching his 2nd pair, a set of 3's, or making a desperation bluff after his draw missed.
