Re: Arrrgh...
I'd be tempted to check-raise this flop to try to get some folds rather than play a FD out of position here. I don't think villian raises the turn with anything but 2pair/set so we have to dump it.
EDIT: C/R or bet/3bet all-in on this flop maybe? I hate being out of position and drawing. |

Re: Arrrgh...
Here is my line, lets see what people say:
I lead flop for full pot. that is likely to discourage a raise, and when it is raised large I have an easy push-fold decision. I don't like betting half pot on the turn. At least 2/3 here. Then, when he comes over the top, we can fold without odds, or call with odds My line is 100% open to advice and adjustment. |

My experience is that it doens't matter that much. But you're right, the flop missed his overs- a raise from CO means he's got an overpair or a better flush draw and it comes down to will he fold them if we bet/3bet all in? For me the turn is player dependant. I figure to have quite a few outs now and I'd like to see a river but bet/folding is safe, too, if we know he's only raising a better hand there and never a draw. |
