Bad spot to steal?
Should i call?
What winrate would my hand need against his possible range to make the call?

I was very low on chips later and had to push with a king, got called by an ace and lost to a flush
Maybe i played awful in this situation, losing a critical amount of chips...
I was raising 3BB a (very) few times earlier, went all-in on flop but didn't get called. I think i had a tight image.

I'd really like comments on my play here. This is not a bad beat post or something. This is the only situation that directly came to my mind when i thought of possible mistakes in that tournament, and i'm quite unsure about my play here.

What did you have? Anyway, I think you should stick to stealing from late position, when there is less chance someone will find a hand. You're getting 3:1 on the call so I think you have to make it no matter what you had.

I think you have to make the hand easier to read to get more replies and be aware of the time difference (most users are asleep).
Also, it generally helps to tell people what cards you have!

Wrong hand to steal with in my opinion.
If you take down the blinds, then fine but in that case any two cards are good.
However, trying to steal with ace rag is dangerous unless you're desperate for chips because what happens if you get called - what are you hoping for on the flop? You've got no str8 draws, you need for for a flush and if an ace comes down and there's action it's very uncomforatble. Even if you flop an 8 and that gives you top pair and top kicker, you could still be looking at overcards.
Once he's pushed, I think you have to call though. Unless he's got bullets, you've got outs and while someone else will do the maths for you, I'm pretty sure that you've the pot odds must dictate taht you could the extra 825 and pray.

I'm folding this hand, or possibly limping if the table has been loose enough to have a lot of unraised pots preflop.

Once he pushes, you have to call 825 to win just under 2400, a little worse than 3:1. Unless he has aces, you have the pot odds to call. His most likely holdings are 88+, AQ/AK. You're basically 3:1 against everything other than AA.

You got yourself in a bad situation with the attempted steal from EP with marginal cards, but once you were in the situation, you just made things worse by folding when you had the odds to call.

once you have made the play af raising preflop, you have to call given the odds you have. its only incorrect to call then he has AA

Though as you have prob seen from other peoples posts, this is not the right time to try stealing
