Why are all the hard hands with no reads . I prefer shoving here and hoping him to turn over a smaller PP or a weaker jack or a combination of the two with a decent heart.

I hate the raise preflop. AJo in the SB is trash in my book, hard to play, OOP, can't win a big pot. You hit a near perfect flop, but that turn card is the suck.

Maybe that's one of the things that makes them hard.

Do you really think he's minraising a big bot with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for example?

Well if it's any consolation the open-limper is something like 60/5, and that's why I PFRed.

Well my thinking goes like this, 1) he wouldn't be min raising you unless he has the K or A flush made here, he would be betting more to stop you from drawing cheaply to what could be a broadway heart in your hand on the river. I don't think he would be betting a boat here either (JJ/TT are possibilities) for the most part. This makes me believe(pray may be the better word for my skill-level) that he has a J with a A/K/Q heart here. Or he could have something like AhQh where you are pretty close to dead anyways and his call on the flop still makes perfect sense. Feel free to berate me for my flawed logic and putting him on too small a range of hands ^^.

I think I would have led the turn for a little more. ($35 or $40) I may be results oriented, but betting that low sort of says "Well I don't like my hand as much so I'll bet less." I like folding to the minraise.

Preflop I'd probably raise like you or call, but I'm a LAG.

I've been out of the game for a while, but I think I just let this one go. Not a lot you're beating.

yeah, be very careful raising AJo in EP. TPTK OOP sucks majorly.

Definitely peace out on the turn.

i absolutely hate this situation when not only the third flush card hits but i brings a second broadway card. i think we can fold easily to the min raise because our range of hands that we beat has shrunk alot
