Default Two pair at NL100

No real reads other than he had was 44/2 over 50 hands and I had been fairly active. I think he may have been willing to play back at me with marginal hands.

PFR of 2 is very low, so AQ is a possibility.
Also QT, which you own.
And KJ is very possible which takes you down.

Tough board. Now with time to think about it, I reluctantly fold. In the moment, I may (mistakenly I think) play it.

There isn't much more money. Pushing gives him about 3:1 odds. This is an easy push for value and protection. Villain could have a pretty wide range of hands including Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] x[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], TPWK, lower two pair, etc. He could easily think he trapped you with AK or even AJ.

Calling looks bad, since the river is likely to give him much more information than it gives you.

Really? I'd be nervous about pushing here.

I think he still raises PF with AK, so I doubt it's TPTK, but I guess he knows you don't have that either. Yeah, it could be AJ I guess. That's a scary place for him to min-raise it though, since it doesn't give him any more information when hero calls, and the pot is bigger desipte having an average kicker.

What was the result btw?

Agreed. You're getting 2:1 on your push, and that's too good to pass up against a 44/2. He's calling here with 2pairs, any flush draw, Q10, A2 and lots of other hands.
So push now to get value from those drawing hands.

If he was deeper (say 100BB) I could probably find a fold here.

Thanks guys. My thinking here was that since he was so short a call was the same as a push. I was oop and there a lot of river cards I didn't want to see. In case I was wrong I felt I might as well get my money in when I had 4 outs rather than no outs. So I pushed. I blanked and his J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] took down the pot. With deeper stacks this probably would have been a fold.
