i am banning degen. i am sure i am going to catch all hell for this. but i have received messages about him pming people for rb offeres when they didnt request them. he has the user thedean, who i banned, and now i find out he is also affiliatesaver who was an absolute disgusting troll.

He's three trolls on the forum doing blatantly wrong things. Other forum reg or not, he's toast.

He's a "strategy" poster in STT too, but all his posts while on-topic are usually pretty venomous. He's one of a very small % of my strategy posters that I wouldn't mind see go.

Sniper- IMO don't do things like this until there's been a chance for it to be discussed here, at the very least it sounds like he deserves a suspension let him have one while we figure out the best course of action

To further clarify.

Somebody calls somebody a douchebag in another forum. He's a good strat poster, he gets banned, mod from "home" forum says "no he's good, let's unban him" fine.

But rakeback pm spam and the like strike me as greater sin, and no amount of value to the home forum should supercede that.

Keep in mind that this forum frequently bans one of the better online limit players out there for exactly this reason.

I did talk to Sniper about this, and he's going to discuss things with Morgant. But if Morgant still thinks this guy should be banned, I think that's what should happen.

I don't like the idea of undo-ing somebody else's ban just because you disagree with it or you have a different opinion of the poster.

Yeah, Sniper, you were out of line here. The policy is that you can't reverse another mod's ban unless he says it's okay or you escalate to an admin (usually Mat) and get approval. If you had already done that, then I apologize.

Morgant knew he would take flak for the banning, just as I knew I would take flak for the unbanning.

As Cola stated, Morgant and I are going to discuss it... and I am sure that we will arrive at a solution.

We both posted our actions here, so everyone was informed. I have nothing further to add to this until after morgant and I exchange PMs.
