why do "little people" have kids?

What goes through these peoples minds?

There is a huge chance that you will have a dwarf for a kid, why make him suffer? Go adopt, dont have kids, dont be selfish

My guesses are 1) I'm pretty sure that dwarfism is a recessive trait and most kids born to dwarf couples aren't little people themselvevs 2) Being a little person isn't all that bad and 3) the same reason as everyone else.
