HAHA

81% no i dont cheat. If you define cheating like the T& C perhaps not. But imagine you are a new player like me 2 years ago and than you hear that software save any game and people know that you raise only with AA KK AK and that you call a reraise only with the nuts. This players will see the use from PT, calculators as cheating.

I don't cheat but I do use PokerTracker which i consider to be somewhat unethical given that not everyone knows about it.

Great post

1. Who said anything about illegal
2. Lets not kid ourselves that PT isn't used for opponent profiling too
3. You're a jerk

Ok I kinda ran out after 2 but the point stands

i answered yes.

quite a while ago i helped my friend get signed up on a party acct and one of his first nights we were playing at a $.50/1 table. we were talking on the phone about poker and other things. he was very timid playing and when it was his turn to act one time i could tell he didnt know whether to call preflop.

without revealing my hole cards, i told him "im going to raise." as soon as i did i felt like [censored]. i was trying to be nice to my friend but crossed the line. i told him i shouldnt have said that.

i still feel guilty about it so i hope confessing my sins will cleanse my soul.

i'm glad you felt bad.

i wonder how many people would start out semi-innocently like this and NOT feel bad? next thing you know, they decide to do it in a SNG, then 6-max etc.

I answered yes on the first question then no on the second.

I was in a freeroll where very few people showed up so on my first table it was just me and 1 other guy with 8 post and folding no shows. He suggested we split the blinds I said nothing but went ahead with it.

I felt like a dirty, dirty colluder

I answered yes to both, but mostly because the definition of "cheating" is overbroad. I use pokertracker, gt+. No matter how you argue it, the TOS of Party as written (even if they don't enforce it) does not allow this.
