One More 2+2 Fantasy Baseball League...?

Hi all,

A couple of my friends usually organize a Fantasy Baseball League every year and I realized today that I have not entered one yet because my friends are abroad and aren't doing it this year. So, I looked to 2p2 and apparently the league(s) that have been started here are full. I've started one with one other guy at Yahoo and would love to make it another 2+2 Fantasy League.

So, there are 18 spots left open and 8 days until the season starts. PM me if you'd like in or have any question, I'll take the first 18 people. I'd really like to do this and hope it's not too late (I just assumed I'd be in a league by this point and didn't realize how soon the season was until just now). The fee will be $6/team.

I'm happy to do a league that's free. It doesn't really matter to me; I'm not trying to make a profit here, only do this for fun. If there's a consensus that a free league would be preferred by all, I'm all for that as well. If you want to look here then you can see the difference between one and the other. It seems the only real advantage is "preferred draft times," "league prizes," and "advanced commissioner controls," none of which I really care about.

So far we only have a total of 6 teams, so I will create the league now for free and PM those who've signed up and then add teams before I create the draft order.

The roster positions are as follows: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL.

If we decide as a league that we want to have cash prizes (pretty much the only advantage of the paid league) we can do so after the draft. Anyone else who'd like to is encouraged to join as it is a public league. PM me or post in this thread if there are any other questions. Thanks!

Looking forward to the draft. I do hope we get enough active teams to make it worthwhile. Thats why I like the idea of having a prize, even if small, to keep people interested.
