You should have potted the flop..that's what you should have done. When he raises there, you get it all-in.

Also, how do you raise it to $59.55 when you only had $45.55 before the hand was dealt?

I was hoping for the check raise. I played like two hands with him, and when I checked he bet. I don't know if that justifies my play or not though.

You should have bet the flop, that's really all there is to it, trapping with 1 pair hands against anyone except the biggest maniacs in the world is generally a bad idea.

Bet the flop! Your A's are still only a pair. If he's playing a baby Ace, especially suited loose players only see all their unlikely draws to the straight or flush on this flop and looks like that's exactly what you let him draw to. A pot sized bet on the flop would have given him second thoughs, but once he saw help on the turn you can't shake a fish off that bait.

damn, I must go to sleep, anyway, if your answer is yes that kinda narrows it down, don't it? If your read is right he is ahead so why do you get [censored] up on the turn? You had a plan for the flop. It didn't work out, which is fine, but you failed to adjust to the new information-that he checked behind your weakness. You just kept the same plan and used it on a later street-this is very bad. Hopefully, now, you will start to be a thinking player instead of playing on auto-pilot.

Btw, not betting this flop is not that bad but should be done rarely imo. The problem is not adjusting on the turn, the proper adjustment is to bet call turn and check call river unless you have tons of confidence in your read.
