I think he should go now. I just don't see his stock going up anymore. Might as well take the money and run.

Do you guys think that whoever drafts him will try to plug him in immediately?

Young will become the first underclassman to leave early in coach Mack Brown's eight-year tenure at Texas.

This is pretty amazing.

Amazing in a bad way.

On Countdown, they were talking about Tennessee being interested in Vince. I guess him & McNair are really close.

Not surprising, but good to hear. Nothing better than a big blockbuster NFL draft trade, and with Young, Bush and Leinart at the top, the chances of that are pretty good.

In light of this new information, how do you think Texas will fare in the first preseason poll? Given the fact that their entire offensive attack is now gone, I would say the bottom half of the Top 10.

Word. Iggy, please don't tell me you don't think there weren't Texas players that could have made it in the NFL after their Junior years.

i dont blame him one bit. this whole season he's been talking about staying put in texas no matter what and i havent fully understood why he was so adamant. he even said if he won the heisman he'd be back.

his first hint was immediately after the rose bowl that he would consider pro. ill miss him in austin but i think pro is in his best interest.

If he's got to leave, this is the best possible way. Tennessee would be a great situation for Vince. This is really kinda rocking my world, though. I've always been a Dallas fan, and I've always pooh-poohed the notion of dual- or secondary fanhood. But... Steve McNair's my favorite NFL player. Vince is about to become my favorite NFL player. I'm a huge admirer of Norm Chow. I know where this is headed, and I feel a little uneasy about it.

where do you guys think he'll be drafted? i heard one national sports guy on the radio "bad mouthing" vince and saying vince isn't as good as everyone thinks and he is and should be drafted in the 7-10 slot.

seems like he's a 1-4 pick to me.
