Brother Got A Speeding Ticket Question

My brother was driving from Indiana to Florida and was stopped in Alabama this morning. He was coming up on a reduced speed area (from 65 to 45) and was pulled over for speeding. The cop told him "you're not in Indiana anymore" and that he was doing 80 in a 45. My brother says he wasn't doing 80 ever during the whole trip, then he asked the cop if he could see the radar reading. The cop said that he already erased it. He got a $300 ticket.

Does my brother have any options here? He has until Thursday to contest the ticket. Thanks for any suggestions.

FWIW, it's spring break for a lot of schools and I'm sure the officer was out looking for spring break students.

Costs about $30. I bought it, went to court, got the case dismissed.

What Mile marker where you close too (assuming you were on I65)?

Without killing this guy's business, can you describe a little bit of what the page he has you print out says? The website LOOKS like a giant scam but if it really works I'd be pleasantly surprised.
