Default 7th play, weak?

Live $4/8, 50c ante, $1 BI, 5 handed.

The table has two HE players killing time in seats 4 and 5 while waiting for a game, one tight regular, and Villan. Villan, one of the stud regulars, tends to call down to the river with any draw and most pairs.

Seat1: x x 4d brings in folds
Hero: [10s 10c] 10d completes
Villan: x x 7h calls
Seat4: x x 8s folds
seat5: x x 5d calls

4th:

Hero: [10s 10c] 10d Jc bets
Villan: x x 7h 4c calls
seat5: x x 5d 3s calls

5th:

Hero: [10s 10c] 10d Jc Kd bets
Villan: x x 7h 4c 6c calls
seat5: x x 5d 3s 9s folds

6th

Hero: [10s 10c] 10d Jc Kd 9d bets
Villan: x x 7h 4c 6c 5h calls

7th:

Hero: [10s 10c] 10d Jc Kd 9d [As] checks
Villan: x x 7h 4c 6c 5h x

I check, intending to call a bet. This feels very weak, though, since I'm sure Villan will call with two pair. However, with a 4-straight, live hearts, and a longshot club possibility I don't think I can call a raise.

I don't mind the check, but Id probably still bet. Because of the scariness of your board, I dont think you'll get raised here even if you are behind, and if you are ahead, you would have successfully gotten a last bet in.
