Default 1964 hands, -140BB, over the stretch of a week

Well, since the first of the year, I'm a consistent loser at 25c/50c PokerStars hold'em.

I admit I'm not the best player in the world, I've only been playing for a few months, but when do you determine that a beat is not a beat and that you are a loser? I mean -140BB in 1,900 hands is ridiculous. Is this even close to an average bad session? I know I don't play a ton of hands in a week, so this is mostly due to sample size, but come on! Prior to this I was a consistent winner at a much slower rate, 2.5 BB/100 over 1x,xxx hands. Now this happens and I'm like 1.2 BB/100 over my entire 1x,xxx. This is ridiculous. I can't even count how many times I've lost AA to KK, QQ etc. But, other than that I have no idea what to do. Play more hands? Play less hands? I even installed TiltBlocker to make sure I wasn't tilting during this whatever-you-wanna-call-it -140BB run.

It must be a tilt since I was a consistent winner before and now this garbage happens... I couldn't have been just magically getting lucky over 10k+ hands for 2.5bb/100. Sounds like a swing right?

Should I post more hands? Should I post my stats with low 1x,xxx hands?

Look at your mistakes, and fix them, or ask the Micro-Limit boards for advice. You're not a loser at the .25/.50 games, but you're not practicing expert play either.

So what? I played a 1k session and was down 90BB Started a new 1k session the next day and was down another 35BB in like 200 hands. I played my way out of it Just keep playing and post hands if you feel unsure.

It happens.

Seriously.

I recently just dropped 150 BB in fewer hands than that. And then last night made 50 BB in 100 hands.

It's just variance. Welcome to your first large downswing.

Don't expect to get much sympathy when you post about a measly 140bb downswing.
