Default Party 22, push this ?

I ran this in SnGPT it told me EV fold was 14.5 % and EV push was 15.3 %. I put my opponents on average range. I cant remember any direct reads.

PartyPoker Regular Tournament, Big Blind is t400 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t2650)
Hero (t2660)
CO (t5030)
Button (t6012)
SB (t1973)
BB (t1675)

Preflop: Hero is in UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds

Is this an easy push? Or is it too close to matter ?

This surprises me, I would have thought folding was correct.

I think there're too many left to act.

Don't use the default ranges in SNGPT. There is no chance that all of your opponents are on the same range. Unless the table has been quite tight, it's a fold.

Maybe i need to adjust the sngpt call range to loose ? Then theres no EV diff between push and fold.

There will certainly be situations in the 22s where you'll need to set calling ranges to looser than 'Loose' (or even 'Maniac'. especially the really large stacks.

Whilst this might not yet be one those situations, the 'Average' range would definately be too tight here.

this is a fold..

I'd put the CO and Button's ranges at about 12-13% on average

the SB's at about 18-19%

and the BBs and like 23% probably

if they are anywhere close to these it's a clear fold

just use the presets(T,A,L,M) for quick reference..when a decisions is somewhere in between two of them..put in your own %s..you can see what calling range they have to have in order to make a push correct

...you will typically have plenty of questions about what calling or pushing ranges you should input..

just posts hands..ask for what ranges we think they have (offer any reads)..and you should get some accurate responses..
