Regarding broiling lobster tails:

Do I need to broil both sides? I wonder because the shell is in the way.

I don't beleive that broiling is a common method for cooking okra. You can always grill it though. Take two skewers and thread the okra on to both to make easy to turn them. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side.

My wife and I hate leftovers. We end up wasting a lot of food, and therefore money, because we throw it away. Any tips to breathe new life into leftovers without feeling like you're eating the same thing as the night before? Too general of a question?

I feel your pain. When living in a partment I had a very small charcoal grill that I would carry the required distance away and use. The two best ways to cook steak inside it to broil it, or grill it in a pan. If broiling be sure to marinate it. My recomendations are either Stubb's brand beef marinade or whisk together red wine, rosemary, chopped garlic, and olive oil. If using the red wine marinade, be sure to liberally salt and pepper the steak before putting it in the broiler.

If you are using a pan, you can either salt and pepper the steak and do it in a cast iron pan. You can get some cajun seasoning and blacken it using a cast iron pan. Also if you have a stainless steel or aluminum pan you brown the steak and then deglaze the pan using some red wine. To deglaze means to take the meat out of the pan, cut the heat off, and pour in a liquid. Once the liquid is in the pan, srape up any of the brown bits that stuck to the pan. To finish this sauce, turn the heat back on to medium after its no longer steaming, add some garlic and beef consume. Then take the pan off the burner and whisk in cold butter in small chunks.

I need the best sautee'd mushroom recipe ever, and a basic understanding of how long on high/how long on low, and generally what to consider to make good mushies.

Hope you can help!

Much love
