Default 2/4 Hand AJo that I\'ve been wondering about all day

I was at this table for about two revolutions. I don't play on stars much. I didn't have very good reads. The limper was like 60/20 and not really worth worrying about.

When I saw the villain CC me preflop, I noticed his stats were something like 12/5, but I only had 18 hands on him.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, CO raises, BB folds, MP1 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.25 BB

I know I played this very weakly, but on one hand, I feared his tightness, whil I was also thinking that with only 18 hands, the stats could have been totally unreliable, and I should just see showdown. Thoughts?

BTW, I won't be back for answers till the morning. Good Night.

Standard. 18 hands means nothing. Can't you set pahud or whatever to not show you anything for 30 or 40 hands?

OOP I play the same. If you had position you could bet the checked turn for a free showdown.

Why do you want a free showdown? You're worried about AQ/A7/A3, here, and I guess 77/33.

Hero needs to find a raise, prolly on the turn.

I would've check/raised the turn because I only called the flop. The reason you should call the flop is to check/raise the turn!

If you don't want to go for the check/raise on the turn, three-bet on the flop and lead the turn if MP doesn't cap.

For exactly this reason, I'd 3-bet the flop every time.

I like the preflop raise, awful hard to tell how you stand after the flop with that many callers. AK, AQ, or a set after the flop is really all to be worried about with you preflop raise.
