Default High Stakes GSN q

Does anyone know if this is still being recorded? I would think they would keep it going as long as players show up.

The only blog I really read is DN's and he hasn't talked about it in a while. Anyway just curious ...

Pretty sure they are not recording any more. I don't remember where it was filmed but the normal "big game" is played at the Bellagio.

Well if IRCC it was at The Golden Nugget and it was 300-600. So the "big game" would be going on no matter what the high stakes deal does.

If it was prfitable for the casino and network then I don't knwo how they couldn't. It seems to be everyones favorite here.

I guess because poker players like it doesn't mean the general public likes it as well.

The filming was done a few months ago but we are about to start filming again as gsn has ordered more episodes.

Sweet. HSP is easily the best poker on TV.

Todd -
I have no idea how much pull you'd have with producers, but if there's anyway you could make the following suggestion for the tv broadcast:

Less Kaplan/Benza commentary, more player dialogue.

I love the show but it gets so frustrating having Kaplan talk over 80% of the player chat. I can watch 10 poker shows with hand analysis of varying quality, but HSP is the only show where we can get that "insider" chat that, to me, is the most interesting part.

Thanks.
