Default Aces hand

live 2-5 NL

4 limpers, I raise to $30 in LP with AA. I have been pretty active. Button and limpers call. One guy only has $76 more left and is steaming. Villain next to him is a loose player pre-flop and weak post-flop with $370 behind. He has not been involved in any significant hands.

Flop comes 9 9 7, maybe two tone, maybe rainbow. Shorty moves all in for $76, Villain says that he calls and puts out the $76. I make it $225 to go.

This is probably simple, but the call by villain felt funny.

Your preflop raise sucks, esp if you've been active. Christ make it like 50 to go, people call anything live.

I dont like a raise, he probably doesnt have T8 so you're either way ahead or way way behind. He only has like 270 left too so there's no way you're getting off this hand anyway. Just call and keep him in with a pocket pair or whatever trash he has.

50 is too much for this table. thats 10BB. I think my raise is fine.

WHy is T8/86 unlikely? Also, there is already over $300 in the middle. I do see what you're saying though.
