Default See you later NBA

*********PERSONAL WHINY RANT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED**********

The 1st half of the Denver/SA tonight was a great half of bball. Both teams were playing well. Apparantly Joey Crawford watched a replay durring halftime and saw he didn't get enough airtime. He made the entire third quarter about himself. Him and his crew DESTROYED the pace of the game. They didn't favor one side, just complete [censored] overall including 4 technical fouls. Im tired of watching crap like this happen. I am also tired of watching someone like Bruce Bowen or Marcus Camby be able to completly batter the opposing team without a whistle being blown. These guys are good defenders, why do they gain an even larger advantage? Until the NBA gets its [censored] together and forces Crawford to retire I will abstain from watching another game or even care about what happens.

I'm sure the NBA will miss you. I'm also sure I'll see you pop up and post on NBA topics long before Joey Crawford is out of the league.

(opens miniature violin case, plays sad miniature violin song, offers roundmound cheese to complement his whine)

FWIW, I agree NBA officiating sucks...it's just not one of my larger problems in life.

NBA both sucks and blows, attendance and TV ratings overall are down since 97-98 season.

roundmound,

Watch a soccer game at the highest level, and you will see a ref that REALLY has an impact on the game.

I'm not a fan of the human element.

It seems to be that if a ref was doign their job right, we wouldn't know much about their personality.

There's a lot of NBA refs with a lot of personality. Crawford is mos def one of them.

I would imagine that basketball is really hard to officiate, and I don't understand why they don't run 4 man crews.
