top set, raised up front
2-5 NL
Villain 1 ($500)is a tight player having a horrible night, stuck 2k. Villain 2 ($1,100) is rather loose and aggressive and still down $500. They know me very well and for some reason respect my play. I cover by a little. V1 opens for $20 early, V2 calls, I call with JJ, 1-2 more people call. Flop comes J 6 4 rainbow. V1 bets $45. He won't bluff here and he might bet tens/9's. V2 makes it $135 to go. Whats the best move here? I think anything I do will look scary right? V2 would just smooth call with a set. He could have bottom two, AJ/KJ, TT-77 or complete air. |

Re: top set, raised up front
Board is not draw heavy, so I like a calling the flop.

Re: top set, raised up front
Only draw out there is 75. Other than that you have nothing to worry about.
Yes, you're right whatever you do will expose the strength of your hand but I think calling is best since you don't want anybody to feel remotely intimitaded by you. If V1 is tilting as bad as you say, he may shove all in as a squeeze play with a number of hands. btw reraise pf |

Re: top set, raised up front
V1 is having a bad day but is not tilting, I should have mentioned this.
Grim, against his raising range I don't re-raise jacks. V1 is pretty tight raiser (sometimes 99)TT+ AQ/AK. Mybe this is a leak in my game? |

Re: top set, raised up front
Given that it seems like it's B&M, I think I hollywood call.

Re: top set, raised up front
Calling is best but I raised. V1 tanked and folded, V2 insta folded.
