Default Down With Prima Poker

I am outraged.

One day, I try to log onto my Royal Vegas Poker account and it notifies me that I'm locked out of the system, and that I need to contact support.

Fine.

So I contact support and they tell me that I have to submit a copy of my driverse license and a copy of a utility bill.

I was lazy, and kinda forgot about it for a while. I had a substantial sum of money in prima poker, but just felt like there was no rush and never got around to getting them my information for around 4-5 months.

This week I took my friends camera, took a picture of what they wanted, and sent it in. Here is what followed.

Dear Jason

Thank you for sending your Verification Documents back to us.

All documents required were received for your account prvrxxxxxxxxx

It has been reviewed by the Player Security Department and will be stored in a secure location, for future verification.

We would like to thank you for returning the documents and helping to make Royal Vegas Poker Room the safer place to play.

Sincere regards,

Royal Vegas Poker Room Security

Great.

But then.

Hi Jason

Thank you for your email.

We have had a look at your account and we can see that your account has been locked from Prima Poker's side. We have sent through an urgent request to Prima Poker to find out more about this matter.

We will be in contact with you via e-mail as soon as we receive feedback from them, this should be within the next 24-72 hours.

Thank you for your patronage, please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further queries.

Kind Regards,

Pieter

Then...

Hi Jason

We regret to inform you that your accounts on the Prima Poker Network
will remain locked as per Prima Poker and our Player Security Company.

The reason for this is that they have found that some of the Network
rules and terms were broken. Unfortunately due to security reasons the
account will remain locked with our Poker room as well.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further
queries, questions or comments.

Kind Regards,

Rob

In my outrage, I call up RVP. They basically tell me in so many words that I somehow violated T&C, and that Prima doesnt even tell them how I broke T&C. But Prima does make it clear I can't play. My account is closed indefinitely.

I hardly played on Prima. I would hoestly estimate I spent less than 24 hours time on the tables. I had somewhere in the ballpark of $15,000 in the account, and it was just to sit in the occasional game that looked good. I honestly have no idea how I broke the T&C. I think this is completely and utterly pathetic that I CANT EVEN GET A [censored] EXPLANATION. I read through their T&C, they look pretty standard.

The bottom line is that take your money out of Prima and stay out. What kind of legitimate business leaves their clients out to dry like RVP has left me. If this story doesn't scare you away, I don't know what will. I'm sure everyone on The Gaming Club also should get the heck out, and whatever other prima skin you use.

If anything changes, I'll let you all know, but I'm fairly sure I just got robbed here.

-Jason

I'm not sure but I believe it might be that if money stays idle for six months they keep it.

Its not cool at all. Anyone have a contact number for higher ups at Prima?

I will email them and others should as well.

This is terrible. I see more and more of these posts on the zoo and it looks like its seriously getting out of hand. I will also be emailing Prima, pestering them about this if that is any consolation. I hope you get your money back soon Jason.

Prima poker has been locking accounts for many years, without so much as an explanation. If you ever find a direct line to prima let me know because I only have the numbers to the skins, which have no power. Money is not safe there.

How can you just leave 15k sitting around for 4-5 months and not even care about it? If the answer is that you are that rich, well then I guess losing 15k isn't really that big a deal to you. Oh yeah, the principle blah blah. If it is a big deal to you, I again ask, how can you just leave it for 4-5 months without even doing anything about it. Just wondering.

I had a hell of a spat with Sportsbook.com. Find out who owns the entire network, are they publicly listed etc...
Write the CEO a nice thorough letter. I said I know he would not treat his customers like this, that a casino only has its public reputation, that he is interested in his Multi-Million dollar company not my $15,000, that you do not want to go to regulators, London Stock Exchange, Times of London etc...
The flunkey's swore they would never pay me and after the letter it took a month to get my money.

No offense, but putting money into Prima breaks the cardinal rule of the internet: Never give your money to someone you can't contact.

I went to the Prima site to find a contact and they do not even have one. That is absurd considering the money that runs through their system.

Anybody who is prudent will remove their funds. Once your funds have been removed, then email your Prima skin and tell them why.

Again, this is absurd, you are sending thousands of dollars to an overseas company with zero contact and zero recourse.

Once you pull your money, email them a link to this thread, hopefully Strassa will get his $$ back, but not if eveyone just sits on their hands and leaves their $$ in their accounts.

I would seriously cross post this in every forum (with permission).

I had a similar issue occur with Prima (Belle Rock Gaming?) (Specifically the Gaming Club) about 16 months ago. The amount seized was just over $14K. I had attempted to cash out the full amount, and went on vacation to MA. Came back a week later, no money in my bank account. Called/e-mailed them, and was told that someone called to reverse the cashouts, and "bankrupted" the account. I asked for audio of the phone calls, which they wouldn't provide, and the issue still hasn't been resolved. In their most recent response, I was basically told that they would no longer respond to my e-mails.

Let me know if you end up getting anywhere with them, as I haven't in over a year.

Thanks,
ChewyMint
