Full Tilt Poker - Affiliate Cut Agreement
Full Tilt recently became my venue of choice, due to their native Mac software, but I have a problem.
I signed up for a rakeback account, under a major affiliate, about 10 months ago. Today, I received e-mail from said affiliate stating: [ QUOTE ] We no longer offer Full-tilt poker. We did at one time, but were very unhappy with their affiliate program so we cut our agreement with them. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. [/ QUOTE ] So apparently I don't have rakeback there anymore. Is there any legitimate way for me to get a new, rakeback-enabled account on Full Tilt, without running afoul of their rules and regulations, or am I SOL? I've asked my (former) rakeback provider for assistance in this matter, but I wanted to ask the forum what I can do on my own, instead of idly waiting for them to solve this problem for me. Thanks for any help! |

Re: Full Tilt Poker - Affiliate Cut Agreement
I was recommended to an affiliate and they are able to change the account to have a rakeback, but I haven't heard back from them yet, been 2 days, hopefully I'll hear some good news soon.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - Affiliate Cut Agreement
If anybody else had Mac software that was worth a damn, I'd consider switching, but FullTilt has native Mac software, and enough game selection to keep me amused.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - Affiliate Cut Agreement
You really need to work this out with your affiliate.
I would hate to hear that you lost your rakeback because your affiliate chose to sever ties with FT. That would be very bad on his part without a very good reason. Talk to him. Find out what happened and why. See what he can do to help you. Make sure you know all the facts. Then if you've been screwed please come back here and tell us the details so we can all make informed choices in the future. |

blah, full tilt sucks [/ QUOTE ] Theres been alot of FTP bashing round here lately. I'm not implying the Rikazak didn't get screwed, if the facts are as he said it seems he did. My recent experiences with FTP, however, have been great. They have gone over and above what I would expect from a poker site to solve a problem on three seperate occasions. I dont wanna post exact details, 2 involved rakeback and the other was a WSOP promotion. |

I love Macs, but why not also get/build a cheap Windows machine? Putting together a desktop machine (not including a good hi-res monitor) is cheapo.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - Affiliate Cut Agreement
Well, my account has been switched over to rakeback. This is my first account with RB - so I don't know how often the MGR gets updated, but I played more than a several hands to get some rake going. So I don't think the problem is if you can get it switched, it's if FTP will allow you to switch. In the e-mail it said something like if you hardly play with the account, but if they see that you're a big time player and not give it to you, I'm sure they'll still allow you to switch rakeback sites.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - Affiliate Cut Agreement
Full Tilt approved my account move to a rakeback affiliate. The one I'm with isn't particularly slick (no web tracking or anything), but I trust them to pay me.
poopeyhead: I'm not sure what you're getting at for FullTilt letting me switch, but in the week prior to the switch I'd been playing low/mid limits (5/10 through 15/30 limit games, 2/4 through 5/10 nl/pl games, $50 through $200 tourneys&sngs), at a wide mix of games (everything but stud/8.) Prior to that, I hadn't played there in months. |
