Default Party Poker\'s Extremely Retarded Heads Up Software

i really really hate when i'm playing 4 or 3 handed on party and then all of a sudden i'm heads up and the blinds are screwed up.

i'm sure it's been talked about before, but now it seems party actually listens to us.

reply to this post if you want party to fix this stupid blind structure error. or reply if you just want ot vent about how much you hate it.

I hate it too. I like playing HU so it irks me when it's done "wrong" like this. Although, I'll admit I'm sure I would hate it less if I really understood how to adjust properly..

i dont understand why everyone cares so much. do you think your bb/100 drops because of this? i think it increases but i havent given it much though.

sure we dont get practice playing the correct BB/B structure but we get practice playing HU in a 3handed+ structure which is arguably just as valuable.

There is discussion about this in King Yao's book, and I agree with his analysis. The advantage clearly is to have the small blind and the button at the same time. I'm with Klepton on this, I think its time to make our opinions known to Mike O'Malley. Additionally it would be great if Party added HU only tables once this "bug" has been fixed.

It's just diffrent rules.

I'd rather play sb=button but but the other way around doesn't bother me in the least

but what if your entire knowledge of playing HU depends on the sb being the button?

it screws people up.

I also can't stand Party's HU, thats basically why I play HU on UB.

Everyone saying it doesn't matter has some weird views on things.

With the Party hu structure as is, if two good players are playing HU NL it makes for one of the most boring experiences possible.
