Mike was also on the front page of today's Pioneer Press . The thing I found most impressive was that he will apparently finish his degree at the University of Minnesota in four years. I mean, lots of people have won a million dollars before.
Reading about you guys' exploits reminded me of the home game at Bob T.'s a couple of years ago. The lineup was Schneids, bicyclekick, Gonores, Vehn, Mark H, pudley4, Whiskeytown, Bob T. and myself. One of the tougher $3/6 games I've sat in. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Never occurred to me that you had a last name, Brian. Almost the same name as Dynasty. And there's another poker-playing Mike Carlson in Minnesota. What are the odds?

Pretty cool.
Yknow, other than the guy missing the investment opp, the TV station also missed an opp to hear about what a puss Matusow was about BK's offer. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] It's funny how TV(and other media for that matter) act like it's kind of out of the blue that some college kid wins when they're actually in a room talking to a couple great players that are seemingly flying under the radar.
