Default ** 24 Monday 3/20 **

I always find that discussing 24 is almost as fun as watching the actual show. I also find that speculating about what's going to happen is an efficient way to kill a few mintues here and there.

That said, here's a preview in white (Mild spoilers I guess, if you're hardcore)

The nerve-gas attack that nearly wiped out CTU — killing Edgar and Lynn, among many others — mandates an overhaul in the chain of command. In other developments, Audrey finds a major lead by decrypting Henderson's computer files, so Bauer and Curtis follow up on it while Bierko and his band of terrorists plan their next strike.

Some things that are fun to speculate about include these:

- Which good guy will die next?

- What shenanigans will the first lady pull next?

- Who is the real mastermind?

- What's Barry's deal?

- How is the VP and the Prez's relationship going to play out?

That's just a sampling. Feel free to discuss or not.

Ok, I just find it hard to believe that Kim (back in Season 3) and Audrey are such amazing cryptology and IT geeks. I can believe Edgar and Chloe, but HorseLady being so network-savvy is a little too much.

And why do they need other techs? I feel like Chloe could probably crack RSA and break into Fort Knox given 20 minutes.

I'm still having a heard time believing that Tony is really 100% dead. He died without a silent clock, which is strange given how big a character he was, and the show's writers kept him around to kill him off this season. He has done absolutely nothing important in the 10 or so episodes, and then he dies unceremoniously.

My prediction:

the Vice President is behind the entire thing, he's plotting to remove that giant vagina from the presidency.

I kind of feel the opposite way. if we had 4 Chloe's, CTU would running the world, and possibly other worlds.

I think that the President is going to get into trouble with the Marshall(sp) Law and the VP is going to become acting President.

That douche bag.

They have said, that they made the decision to not kill him off in the opening episode, because that would have been too much death in episode 1. He was a walking corpse since then!

Look for some interesting developments involving Audrey... is she a "patriot"?

and don't forget Palmer's brother!

Wondering how inept they are going to make the Dept of Homeland Security look.

I almost posted this thread, but eventually found it. This is kind of a bump so no one else starts a thread. I have a feeling tonight's episode will not be extremely exciting, but will start to build to something cool. Probably a lot of character development, which is fine.
