Default Harrington, moving on?

Story here...

Lions Coach Marinelli declined to say whether Harrington was released.
"We've made a decision to move on," he said. "At this moment, he's not with us. That's been my decision."

wtf is this nonsense? "not with us" sounds like he died.
all that's missing is "joey is moving on to a better place"

does Marinelli wish he was Belichick in terms of giving shady press comments?

ok be these clowns statements from Marinelli, were will Harrington go now? Is this getting handled worse then the Skins getting rid of Ramsey?

Yay, moving from Harrington to Josh McCown and Jon Kitna! Why did we spend $6 mill/yr on these two bozos? I woulda preferred using the same money to pursue maybe Culpepper (although I doubt Minn would trade intradivision) or Brees.

Kitna's awful. I'm a Joey homer since I'm a Duck fan, but his niche is gonna be as a back-up imo.

Because we're talking about the Lions and Matt Millen? Or was the question just rhetorical?

I think he'd be one of the best back-ups in the league. Part, if not most, of a back-up's job is to help the starter prepare. I think Joey would be excellent at that, he just seems like "that type".

Bump. So I guess he'll be in Miami officially.

I like this Marinelli. Did you hear about him making the team work out with full contact at the mini-camp? He's like a hard a** drill instructor. He could become the next Vince lombardi, just you wait.

Bonus trivia: Dan Harrington is Joey Harrington's second cousin.

Yes, and they're also related to Padraig Harrington.

Lions suck. One headshot on our first-round pick and he's a vegetable. FIRE MILLEN!
