Default PokerStars all-in disconnect question

If after I go all in, then disconnect, do I automatically lose? This is on a table without disconnect protection.

what do you mean by one of them? Its after I've already gone all in, so there's nothing left for me to do. It's not exactly something that can be exploited. The reason i'm asking is because i've been suffering from random connection spikes all the time lately, and non of their tournaments have disconnect protection. When I see a lag spike coming up and I have a good hand, I was thinking of just pushing all in or folding.

All-in is actually something different. It's when it's your turn to act, whether it's to call, check or raise. If you disconnect when it's your decision, the chips you put in the pot are still able to be contested. So you basically get a free ride to the showdown without having to put anymore chips in.

Yes I know that if it's my turn to act then I auto fold if I'm disconnected. What i'm wondering is if I push all in on the flop and disconnect somewhere between the turn and river, do I automatically lose? I've lost a few big pots on certain other sites this way and was wondering if pokerstars was one of those.

bigredlemon -

If you are all-in, your hand plays. If the other players fold, or you have the best hand at showdown you win the pot, even if you are not connected at the time.
