Default Found this...interesting but flawed

I was a table the other day and someone mentioned this site (http://www.tournamentreporter.com). I found it to very interesting where they compile the data from many different online sites for the MTT's. They rank player solely on $$$. This is where the flaw comes in. All it takes is one major online tourney for you be ranked and come in the top 10-50 or so. I do not believe skill is measured how much you win in a single tourney. I think its more of a measure on the what % of the field you finish. If they did a point system like stars or something then it would be more meaningful. Anyone else have some thoughts on this?

Appears that it sucks. My buddy placed 1st in 3 MTT tourneys (33/44/77) over the course of a week within the last 30-45 days and had his highest placement as 9 out of 299? I know he won them because I watched?? Highest earning was like 380.00?? How can they miss 3 wins in 3 larget MTT's 400-500 players min? I also had 7 final tables last month and my highest finish is show 22 out of 359?? It appears worse than a certain other site we all know and laugh abt.

If you search for tournamentreporter you'll find a couple of threads about this site already. Yes, the search engine isn't great but for simple things like this it works.
