Default NL cash games in the NW

I am new to Portland area and am looking for cash games ranging anywhere from 1-2 to 5-10 nl. La Centre is closest Casino, but I am told they only run limit cash games and NL tournies. I am fine with card rooms of questionable legality. PM me if need be.

Hey DN8:

Closest to you will be Spirit Mountain. They routinely have 1/2 and 2/5. I don't know that I've seen anything higher. It's about 30 miles West of Salem, so about 90 miles or so from Portland. Way further north is Tulalip, 30 miles north of Seattle. I think they are also 1/2 and 2/5.

I like Spirit Mt., it's a nice room and well run. I think they have about 25-30 tables, and there is plenty of good action just about 24/7.

Little Creek Casino in Shelton (near Olympia) is another option, though it is about as far as Spirit mountain.

Is little creek min-age 18 or 21? What limits do they offer?

I'd go Spirit Mountain. It's the nicest and best run poker room in Oregon (and I'd lump in La Center) imho.

Spirit Mountain, however, is 21 min and I am not yet 21. Do you know how strict they are on this?

I don't know how strict they are, but I wouldn't do it if I were under 21. If your table hits a bad beat or something, they do want ID and a social security #. That would blow. When your 21 though, check them out. Really nice card room.

casinos are getting more strict about this they dont want to risk any problems so they go overboard. I look pretty young and was carded multiple times when i was there a few months back, even if you get seated you might run into problems later with cashing out, jackpots, and nits you take pots off asking for id probably not worth it.

They're strict. I couldn't get on a list without being asked for ID on two separate occasions.
