I was more worried about Villain2 having a boat or trips because of paired 8's, but then Villain1 was raising into me on the river. I usually have a hard time knowing when my baby boats are good against aggression as well. I can't tell if people are just being aggressive with their trips or if they have the boat. |

This is hard to read. Fold third. Bet sixth. I like the river raise, but when it gets three-bet, I don't like a baby full house that much anymore.

Re: Stud High 1/2: Rivered baby boat facing aggression
Yeah I realised the 3rd street call was a bad one in hindsight and there's no hand history converter for Crypto stud hands.
I probably shouldn't have put in the 2nd reraise on 7th given that they were rerasing into me with paired upcards. Anyway, Villain1 showed K K J A K 9 A for a bigger boat. Apparently I was behind / drawing to 1 out the entire hand. |

Your implied odds in this loosey goosey crypto game are huge if you catch perfect, as you did. People simply dont fold when you pair your door card in that game, and you will win the hand more often than you will lose. I would have been more aggressive with this hand. When the 8s check, I think it is safe to say he doesnt have trips. Obviously I wouldnt be thrilled with what happenend on the river. |
