Default Whitestrips Problem

Hey all, I started using the Crest Whitestrips Premium on Sunday and I gave up using them on Thursday. I'd put them in and the lower one would never get attached right because there'd be too much saliva, and after about 5 minutes the lower one would get so soaked with saliva that it would just float away and then it wouldn't adhere at all anymore. The top one generally worked fine.

So I tried using these CVS dissolving white strips and they seem to work a little better but they don't really dissolve. They do adhere better but it says they dissolve in 5-7 minutes and so I wait about ten and they're still not dissolved. I have these white blobs of goo all over my teeth still and I swallow them or I spit them out. I'm n ot sure if I'm spitting out the hydrogen peroxide that whitens my teeth or the water and oxygen that came as a result of them dissolving.

When I wear either of these kinds of strips, should I be keeping my mouth closed during the wearing or is it okay to have it open? I'm just knida confused. I'm not really sure if the strips are working or not because of my f ups.

I think you are supposed to keep your mouth open a couple of minutes so it dries a bit and adheres to your teeth, then you can close your mouth.

Read the directions really carefully again, and if they don't work, return them. I work at CVS and if you don't like it, there is a 100% return policy. If you have your receipt you can get your cash back, if not, we will give you store credit and you can get whatever.

interesting. i won't really be able to tell until i've used like half the box though. such is the nature of whitening strips. they won't take a half empty box back will they?

Hubert,

Take all your problems
And rip 'em apart

Carry them off
In a shopping cart

And another thing
You should've known from the start
The problems in hand
Are lighter than at heart

Be like the squirrel, girl
Be like the squirrel
Give it a whirl, girl
Be like the squirrel

Hope that helps,
Neko
