Default V For Vendetta

I just came back from watching this. I thought it was really good. Pretty good plot, some excellent action/fighting scenes, Natalie Portman, and just an interesting movie.

Anyone else seen it yet? Thoughts?

I didn't think it was super, but I enjoyed it. Good acting.

Seeing it tomorrow. Sounds good so far.

However, in the comic book version Evey shows boobs. Damn you Natalie Portman.

Yea, when she has the shaved head and is standing in the rain. Not an erotic scene at all, but come on.

WTF? I was looking for times tomorrow and just happened to see it was playing today so I went today. Then I got out and thought, man, my first 2+2 movie review is coming and it's going to before anybody sees it. I'M GONNA BE SO COOL! And now you've ruined it.

Yeah, it's good, but it's not as action-packed or violent as you may suspect. Either way, it's probably worth seeing. The action was good, the acting was good, and the plot was good. So, yeah, worth the money to see it.

heh sorry to rain on your parade. It wasn't too violent in general, but there were certainly scenes that were extremely gory and graphic. I don't want to give any spoilers, so I won't mention any of the specific scenes. Also, there were some cool camera tricks in some of the action scenes.

It sounds like a moive worth to see in the theater. It has to be better than this film.

this about sums up my feelings as well. the political message was too blatantly thrown in your face over and over for this to be an amazing movie. very "crash"-esque.

portman was very hot

The friend I went to go see the movie with (very non-political) said she liked it and was majorly WTF'd by the VERY tacked on lesbo propaganda scene. It was a major WTF scene.

I think like others have said, some of the more "thought provoking" scenes felt very awkwardly thrust into the movie.
