Default I\'m so SICK of USA losing

I wince everytime I see the US lose a "major" sport.

But to lose in baseball. That is just plain embarrassing.

I just wish there were more players that care about their god damned national pride.

that's all

baseball is a high variance game...suck it up we will probably win a slightly higher percentage of WBC tournaments than anyone else in the long run. But if we keep losing in basketball im gonna get really pissed.

No - you're not close to being alone in this respect.
Lack of patriotism not withstanding, at least this disproves the theory that we rooted against our basketball team because we're racist

The biggest reason I am upset about the U.S. losing is that my extra tickets basically just lost all value. I am probably just going to donate them. Other than that, though, the US played bad and did not deserve to win.

Nope. I felt dirty after that Japan win and even worse after the Mexico non-home-run call.

Just remember that the only major sport is football, and we are the only ones who play it.

dude, it's BASEBALL. The US put together a bad six gam run. Yawn. The problem with the WBC is that people will attribute success or failure to some higher meaning, like morality or judge of chracter or patriotism or something.

It's a great thing, no doubt. But don't pretend like this says something about the teams other than, say, we've got about 8 equal teams.
