Are you really willing to raise here and lead the turn with ten high in order to shut down the possibility of a bluff in this micro pot? You could peel to try and make "these bluffs" more expensive for him in the future, but that's not really necessary or effective.

I generally take two lines in this spot (assuming I haven't seen him donk, get raised, and fold the flop in similar situations). Unless opponent has shown some propensity to fold to a flop raise I think it sucks b/c you have no fold equity and its generally very transparent.

1) Obviously, folding is a viable option here. The only real concern with folding is that opponents will start taking shots at you on the flop and you'll have to play accordingly in the future. Anyway...

2) Call the flop and

a) Raise a non-9.T.K turn. If you're goona give any action postflop I would prefer to take the strongest line possible (which I think is call the flop raise the turn).

b) Call a 9,T turn and fold a K.

Depending on my current image I'd almost always take one of these lines.

Edit: Occassionally, I'll call the flop and fold a non-9,T turn for image reasons.

yeah i mean, this is my issue, i know i am prolly beat and it should eb an easy fold, however, i hate hate hate to just give it up in this spot. i mean i dont want the other players assoating me with such a weak play, raise pf and then just fold pf. but i also don't want to spew, i dunno, on paper i agree it is an easy fold but for meta game/image reasons i don't like it, i really don't like people thinging they can just push me around.
