Standard round webber-style charcoal grill.

It works fine for the price I payed, but I'm not planning on taking it with me when I move. I prefer charcoal to gas but I'd like a more substantial grate than the little wire thing on my grill.

Why is "platinum" not an option?

For some reason this thing looks tempting, but I have a feeling it doesn't work at all.

Sorry for the mini-thread hijack.

I have a standard gas grill that a friend gave to me when he moved cross country. For a free grill it's been pretty solid, though it's a bit small for big party grilling. I imagine I'll get a three-four burner monster once I get more permanently settled.

Charcoal definitely tastes better, but it's kind of bad for you, especially when you grill four times a week during the summer months.

Charcoal is also just a pain, if you gril more than 3-4 times a week, hence the gas grill. But charcoal does taste better. FYI, keep your eyes peeled at the home depot and Lowes ad, they have awesome specials this tmie of year. I bought mine at lowes last march, 1k grill for 650$, no interest financing for 18 months on a lowes card, and I got some free accessories (tongs, spatula etc)

Weber's rule, and the side area is handy for plates and utensils.
