Default Folding TK on the button on the bubble

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t2000 (9 handed) converter

SB (t7915)
BB (t15610)
UTG (t10100)
UTG+1 (t6657)
MP1 (t12636)
MP2 (t16295)
MP3 (t15125)
CO (t33580)
Hero (t21310)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
6 folds, Hero folds.

60 players remain, top 47 gets same payout. t4000 worth of blinds and antees to steal.

Thoughts?

I'm thinking I can probably slide into the money and don't need to take risks, whereas BB just might be willing to take a gamble with a stronger hand, but certainly not a weaker one. If I lose this I'm crippled and seriously risk busting out shortly after.

interesting situation. you have tremendous FE since this plays like a satellite, but as the 2nd chiplead of your table, theres no reason to aggressively pursure more chips.

would this be a good spot for a minraise (regardless of cards)?

Um. There's ALWAYS reason to aggressively pursue more chips.

And there's no such thing as a good spot for a min raise PF.

i dont understand your rationale for why this isnt a good spot for a small raise pf. for either of the blinds to call this, they have to commit themselves to the hand. its very push/fold for them -- and if they push, they dont stand to gain much (with a small raise).

and also, i dont agree that its important to aggressively pursue chips here. 80% of the table is in push/fold. hero can finish 45th, he can finish 1st. overall chip accumulation is not as important as outlasting. the risk/reward of raising is high.

Very easy fold. I wouldn't be playing any hands at this stage. It looks like you have an above average stack.

and saying arbitrary things like "theres no good thing as a preflop minraise" completely ignores the current circumstances. instead of replying with arbitrary cliches, itd be better if you gave a reason as to why its bad in this scenario.

you aren't the only one on the bubble. both of these opponents are on the bubble too, and you have them covered. they have to pick up a monster to call. i don't play a lot of sats, but to me this is an absolutely elementary push.

well shoot, betgo plays a lot more sats than i do. maybe just listen to him.

i cant imagine not pushing this here, but it isnt really in my "realm of expertise" (if such a realm exists).
