What about not 3betting the flop? You may or may not be getting value out of raising (since middle man might fold) and if the button is raising for a free card we might get one ourselves if we don't hit. I could see just calling the flop and then donking if you hit the turn but maybe that's too obvious and everyone else seems to like the way you played it.

However, it's not very sexy. That would be betting the turn and c/r the river.

I'd be more inclined to bet the turn if it weren't the button who raised the flop.
