cure my [censored] cold

this has probably been done before, but "cold" isn't such a good search term so I can't find it. plus I'm sick and cranky.

what do you do to get over a cold? I drink water and curse a lot! any others?

every time I get drunk while sick I've felt better the next day. it could be that it's because I pound a lot of water before I go to bed... f it, why not.

Go flying.

I was on vacation to france once, and I got sick as hell in france. On the way home, I went up in the plane, and felt LIKE UTTER [censored]. And I felt 10x worse in the sky. When I landed however, I felt pretty much completely better.

More practical alternatives are nyquil and chicken noodle soup with a couple drops of hot sauce (not like tabasco sauce, some real [censored]). Hot sauce always makes me feel better [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

get zicam- its awesome
that and some airborne usually cuts colds pretty quickly for me.

zicam works esp well if you start as soon as you start feeling sick.

I havent been sick in the last 10 years, in fact the last time I missed a day of school was in 5th grade. Last couple of years, when teh weather changed I do get a little run down once in awhile, and the best thing imo, is drinking a half bottle of nyquil at 6pm, and going to sleep at 7. 12 hours of rest. Green tea in the morning along w/ oranges.

so u never get sick, thus hardly ever take nyquil, yet you take HALF A BOTTLE?!?!? i think 2 tblspoons would be enough
