Default 1/2 flop trips, do I have FPS?

SB has put money in over 20 of the 30 hands I've seen of hiim. No other reads. I planned to wait for the turn to check-raise thinking that was the best way to build the pot...?? I felt pretty lost in the middle of this.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 4 folds, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, BB folds, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, UTG+2 3-bets, Hero caps, SB calls, UTG+2 calls.

River: (15.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, UTG+2 raises, Hero calls, SB 3-bets, UTG+2 caps, Hero calls, SB calls.

Final Pot: 27.50 BB

I think I should have folded instead of the first cold-call on the river, since the SB was still to act, and any K (or 8) beats me... I guess my bigger question is what I should have done on the earlier streets?

Well you never have an opportunity to check raise.

Also, I'd raise the flop and most likely fold the river after UTG+2 raises.

You may even want to just call the turn instead of capping.

Folks it is "Wait Until The Turn Day" Here at TwoPlusTwo where everytime you pass up a chance to trap people for muchos bets they will call on the flop, you can get fewer callers on the turn, out drawn on a draw heavy board, or the turn checked to you for the low low price of your call on the flop!

"Grunch"
Corrections are welcome

Raise preflop u are on the button and it has been folded around to you. ATo is a strong holding from that position

Raise the flop You have a great hand here and are probably ahead at this point
I think the raise on the turn is correct but once UTG+2 3 bets u are in trouble. I go into call down mode at this point. the pot is huge so even though your chances of taking are almost nil u need to see it through.
River really sucks for you bit I still think u need to call it down.

raise pre-flop (we have a good hand here, let's do it)
raise flop (we have a good hand and we're missing value in raising)
fold river (first time around--do you see 4-to-a-straight here?)

Raise preflop. You have a good hand in position against just 1 limper. After that, bet or raise the flop. The hand plays differently from there.

1. raise Preflop
2.Raise the flop - why are you waiting, you hand is not THAT strong. That was the big mistake. You HAVE to take charge of the table whenever you have a chance.

STOP being tricky when you don't a ULTRA strong hand.

If you would have raised the flop you would have a better idea of what the others had.

raise preflop

raise flop

DONT CAP TURN

FOLD RIVER

to people talking about the flop, the river play here is 10 x worse imo
