Default 8-10 tabling on a laptop...

8-10 tabling on an inspiron 2.6 with 512MB of RAM.

...anyone else doing something like this? If so, or if you have a similar resource problem, how are you dealing with party's software? On pokerstars (and others), things run fine with PS + PT + PAHUD, but party just simply runs [censored] for me. It also seems there is a memory leak of kind, as after about 1000 hands, things slow to a crawl, and i have to restart the party software.

Any suggestions? What does something like MTH offer in the way of help for this kind of problem? Would that just soak up even more resources?

I´ve a crappy DELL Inspiron 6000, 256MB of RAM, 1,4 GH...runs like a chicken.
When I´m tentabling and at the same time importing HH to PokerTracker it doesn´t run like a chicken. Try using some privacysoftware to clean up your comp, 'R-Wipe & Clean' for example.

If control is your issue, MTH and other options can help. If your laptop just can't handle the load, you're not going to be able to do much.

There are apps like MemTurbo, which defrag your ram. I don't know how well those work.
