Default Flopped quad aces...Slowplay or keep betting

The sb was a loose calling station which is way I decided to keep betting. Plus my image at the table was very loose and aggressive because I was getting great cards so a check on the flop would make a slowplay obvious even to the biggest donkey.

Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is Button with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
6 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 folds.

Flop: (5.00 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.

Final Pot: 4.50 BB.

Responding blind: fold preflop. Bet/raise at every opportunity after that.

Let's read the post: goddamit, I AM GOOT! Why are you trying to steal with acey-deucey offsuit? Especially when your read (including your read of your own table-image) tells you it won't work?

"Grunch"
Bummer everyone folded pre on this one.
I dont think u would have gotten anymore coinage out of the small blind no matter how u played it. He was probably just trying to defend and didnt have much of anything. I'm not sure why he called the flop.

Bet. Bet. Bet.
With a pp he's probably calling and never raising so bet away.
With unpaired cards if he's calling a turn bet he's calling a flop bet, so bet it.
Are you waiting hoping he'll pair the turn? 13% chance of that- Meaning 87% chance you're missing .5BB.

Fold the flop. Guess how much you'll lose by doing so over the long run?

This is OT,

To Frosthawk
I have noticed you have "grunched" the original post yet you read the replies first (this is not grunching)

If you are interested on the origins of "Grunch" here it is: GrunchCan's Challenge

(I have noticed he has changed his name & avatar)

your read on the sb is key. Loose calling stations "usually" don't get aggressive or bluff. If he wants to call, let him.

Gib
Actually I am grunching before reading the posts as I have read grunchcans challenge. It is once I have posted that I read others posts. I am not sure how u are getting this impression. I will however admit to this error last week when I did make that mistake. Believe me, my replies are not to try and impress anyone but to learn.
