I am one. I highly recommend not sitting at a table with "Scary_Tiger" at PartyPoker because, trust me, I can see into your soul.

No but a recent theory is that there's another perhaps not yet discussed big advantage to party to giving people short term awful luck.

It can be designed to even out eventually so that nobody can accuse them, that doesn't matter. But imagine a system where everyone is playing and variace is "standard" and they're trading money and party is taking rake. Eventually the money pool whittles down and party profits decrease.

Now imagine a "random number generator" that generates higher swings for players. People will still show an "everything evens out as usual" tendency over the long run but they'll go broke much more often and have to redeposit. Money pool grows, more games, party profits.

Conspiracy

Well you thought wrong. Shills are very real. And if you email party about them they have more shills follow you till you are broke. It happened to my buddy...or me.
