Default An AK Hand

Villain is solid with decent TAG stats.

Why?

I understand that you think that he thinks you are drawing, so he always bets the river. However, given his preflop play I fold the river. You only beat AQ!

Raise the flop.

Fold fold fold that river. I'm guessing homeboy has TT-KK, with a diamond.

If you really want to put one more bet on the river, I would prefer a donk bet on the river instead of c/c. If he has an overpair, it takes more guts to raise it here on this board - if he has AK[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] which you are splitting with, he might release it.

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 56.4857 % 47.95% 08.53% { AdKc }
Hand 2: 43.5143 % 34.98% 08.53% { TT+, AQs+, AKo }

Is that range goot? Add AQo and your equity jumps to 63%

What part of his capping range are you ahead of?
AQ?

I insta-fold this river

You really think OP is ahead at this point?

Someone mentioned you're only ahead of AQ. If villain had AQ, I'm not convinced he'd bet the river

Ok I think I can dig it then. Especially since we aren't taking this hand to showdown. I think we need to check the turn though if we c/r or cap the flop. Getting raised on the turn here would really suck and is pretty likely given villians hand range.
